The 2011 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event was one for the record books. Marking the 30th year of Rolex Watch U.S.A.'s sponsorship of this great event, and record rainfall for the month of April in Kentucky, left much of the course under water at the beginning  of the Event. A feild of seasoned, familiar competitors like last year's winner, William Fox-Pitt, Oliver Townend and Boyd Martin were joined by a host of new faces to follow such as Tina Coudray and Sinead Halpin all competing at the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park for the coveted title of Rolex Champion, With the 2012 Olympics on teh horizon preformance at the only U.S. Four Star Event will influence the selectors for the next year's Olympic team, making doing well here all that more important. Adding to the excitement, 2011 featured a new Cross-Country Course designer, Derek Di Grazia, hoping to challange the field with his first Rolex Kentucky design.
